outside the blood of Christ
i have no other option but to perish
how precious is Your gift of repentance
allowing me to experience true joy in Your Redeeming Love once again
thank You Lord for revealing more of my sin to me
thank You for showing me the reality and depths of my sin
i am more of a sinner than ever,
You are more of a gracious and merciful God than ever.
as i see sin for what it truly is,
i’m sorry Lord that my sins are offensive and an affront to Your Holiness,
grieves Your Holy Spirit,
and wounding afresh Christ.
thank You that i’m even able to come to realization
and feel convicted still to confess, seek, and ask for
the strength and ability to repent,
to be able to still do that, is sheerly by Your mercies oh Lord
that Your Holy Spirit still hasn’t given up on me,
or left me to my depravity and folly
thank You Lord for Your Great Love
that it’s Your kindness that leads me to repentance,
Your love that compels me to obey,
Your love goes on and on and on
for it overwhelms and satisfies my soul
even though i still sin and mess up daily,
it’s Your Great Love and mercy that still
welcomes me back into Your arms, praise You
let this not just be a one time thing
but let me daily, moment by moment
live in surrender to Christ in repentance
and put my faith anew in Christ
i am nothing without You,
thank You that Your love never fails, it never gives up
it never runs out on me
Your love never fails me, Your grace never fails me
if You, O Lord, kept a record of sins,
O Lord, who could stand?
but with You there is forgiveness;
therefore You are feared.
let me Oh Lord, walk in obedience to You
and fear You Lord.
to put my eternal hope in You Christ,
my soul waits for You.
